Hello! I am super excited about this market and would love to be one of the vendors. I love Christmas and books, so this is the dream event for me! For this event I would be showcasing my literature themed linocut prints. I have a few different types and themes of art on my website, but I would specifically be bringing anything book related to the event, such as my book stack prints, book genre tarot card prints, bookshop prints, etc. I would also include bookmarks, bookish stickers and cards. I have many more ideas about winter/Christmas themed bookish prints that I would have ready for the event and am planning on making book sleeves and/or tote bags with some of my book themed prints on them as well. Not all of my book themed items are on my website or social media, please let me know if you need some more info about my products and I would be happy to send over photos and sketches of what other book themed items I am currently working on. Thanks so much! Alex

Book "The Secret Code of the Gospel. The Earthly Story" by Albert Seidel. Did the heroes of the Gospels live in history, or only in story? What truly happened in Judea two thousand years ago? Who was proclaimed King of the Jews, and what led to his condemnation to death? Can a religious text reflect real “earthly” events? These questions form the heart of Albert Seidel’s exploration, presented in The Secret Code of the Gospel: The Earthly Story—a bold journey into the origins of the Gospels, unfolding like a detective investigation. Together with the reader, Seidel examines the clues concealed within the sacred texts. Guided by logic and common sense, he uncovers a secular narrative woven into the Gospels—what he calls the “Earthly Story.” By cracking the secret code embedded in the Gospels, Seidel uncovers this hidden "Earthly Story", revealing historical figures obscured in the text and reconstructing the true context in which the Gospels were created. He not only determines when the Gospels were written but also identifies their author—a discovery that reshapes our understanding of Christianity’s beginnings. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/251355135-the-secret-code-of-the-gospel-the-earthly-story Albert Seidel is a Canadian author whose work explores the hidden edges of history — the places where accepted narratives blur, unanswered questions linger, and long‑held assumptions begin to unravel. His writing is driven by a fascination with the stories we inherit and the truths that often lie just beyond their surface. Though his books focus on historical events, Seidel’s perspective is shaped by a background in physics and analytical research. Rather than approaching the past as a fixed record, he treats it as a puzzle: a collection of clues, contradictions, and overlooked details waiting to be examined with scientific precision. This blend of logic and curiosity allows him to illuminate patterns others miss and to challenge the boundaries between what is known and what is merely believed. Readers are drawn to Seidel’s ability to navigate uncertainty — to step into the gaps of the historical record and ask the questions that are too often ignored. His work encourages a deeper engagement with the past, inviting readers to reconsider familiar stories and to explore the shadows where evidence is scarce but meaning is rich. Seidel lives in Canada, where he continues to write and pursue the research that fuels his investigations. Whether uncovering forgotten accounts or re‑examining well‑known events, he remains committed to revealing the subtle truths that shape our understanding of the world.

I very recently completed the first book I have ever written! This book arose between July 7 to July 31, 2026 and was published on Aug 4! 😮 Although the sincere truth is; I had never intentioned writing a book for my entire life!! 🤔 Until my return from a 4-day vacation Jun 18-21, 2026 to Whistler BC. The purpose of this vacation was to attend the “Awakening to Peace in Challenging Times” retreat which included 5 live sessions with a personal favourite author & speaker of mine, Eckhart Tolle! 🙏 In one trip, there existed 2 bucket-list items of mine! The inspiration to write was awakened in me, but when I sat down, I really had no exact idea of what I would type!! My inner mind said, “You have to write (tell) your story first”! Insinuating how naïve I am at not knowing that this must be the starting point in the first place! It sounded logical! My writings are a kind of story-of-Life; written in a memoir-style of a life well-lived & filled with Fun, with a capitol F! I would say, that I am a Perceiver of "my life" and I have come to the conclusion, that I am a balanced, intuitive man & passionate man from London Ontario! This book is my conscious attempt to look back through the years of my now 63-year-old life; with the purpose of inviting close friends, distant friends, new friends, and everyone to join in the inner workings of my head translated to my words for All to enjoy Fun journey together! My hope is that through my words, each person will find their own inner, fun child again. The kid-filled sense of wonder...no limitations...and; that each reader takes a small break from their busy life; for quality time alone, to create a space to allow their own inner voice to be a point of Inspiration for them as a unique tool that is within us all; the same as me! 🎢😆

I say I write stories without happy endings. My latest book is called And Then They Found Out, which is about two girls in the 90s dealing with online predators in their own way. My first book was a memoire of postpartum depression called Second-Rate Goddess that I wrote with a lot of sarcasm as my coping mechanism. I have two chapbooks. One is The Fates of Three, which is a a book of short stories with darker themes aimed at teenagers. The other is Subpar Expectations, which is short fiction about getting old. I also have a YA book of short stories called Danni Fundy: Occult Babysitter, that I cowrote with Matthew Del Papa. It's a fun book of short stories of two babysitters having paranormal adventures. I also have a few bags with logos based on my book covers.

My debut paranormal romance book, Ghosted. I'd be selling the paperback at the event. Here is the blurb: Welcome to GHOSTED! The dating app for our underground side of the world. Allow us to fulfill all your haunting desires. Who knows what you might attract. Arya Livingston has been ghosted one too many times, and the latest ghosting hurt the most. She's too much, too clingy, too odd for love—or at least that’s what she believes. That is, until she stumbles upon a buzzy new dating app, GHOSTED, and matches with the only guy who actually has a photo: Maverick Forrester. But there’s something off about him. He’s not like other guys—he refuses to even answer a simple FaceTime call. When Arya’s biological mom mysteriously goes missing during an alumni talk on campus, and Arya discovers she's a legacy of the top sorority, Phantom Kappa Nu, it ignites a fire in her to become an official sorority sister. But there’s one problem—due to a string of campus disappearances and supernatural activity, a new rule has been implemented this year: all pledges require a partner for initiation week (for safety, of course). With no other prospects, Arya accepts Mavericks’s offer to be her partner. But he turns out to be a rather ominous challenge. He’s not exactly human or even alive. And as initiation week forces them closer together, it becomes harder to deny their growing feelings. They both begin to question whether their relationship is even possible…or if they’re simply on borrowed time.

Ruthie’s Dusty Path to Courage—a new novel for children ages 8 to 12—takes place on a farm in the Canadian prairies during the Great Depression. Ruthie’s story is a reminder that the challenges faced by previous generations during the “dirty thirties” are still relevant to children and families today. In the Dust Bowl of the 1930’s, courage grows where you least expect it. Ruthie lives on a dry prairie farm where it hasn’t rained in years. Dust storms darken the sky, and the crops are long gone. Her father calls it a battle—one they must face with courage and hope. But Ruthie doesn’t feel very brave. Her big brother, Roy, loves scaring her with creepy critters and spooky stories. And Ruthie worries about school, with teasing, embarrassing clothes, and games that she always seems to mess up. Then there are the howls in the night, the troublemakers down the road, and a mysterious stranger. And the biggest fear of all? That the drought might force them off their land forever. At least she has her dog Rover. His kind eyes and wagging tail make things feel a little better. But when Rover’s safety is threatened, Ruthie must find strength she never knew she had. Can Ruthie discover what it means to be brave when everything around her feels broken and dry? Author Leslie Ruth Damude grew up listening to stories told by her mother—Ruth (Wensley) Mogenson—about her early childhood on a Saskatchewan farm during the 1930’s. Inspired by these experiences, Leslie wrote Ruthie’s Dusty Path to Courage as a story of courage, family, resilience, and hope in tough times. It includes 24 colour illustrations, and discussion questions for families, classrooms, and homeschool groups. Further information is available at: https://leslieruthdamude.com

Looking for Leprechauns sparks children's imaginations with a whimsical adventure inspired by Irish folklore, while How Does Your Garden Grow? encourages a love of gardening and the natural world amongst indigenous communities, and at various times and places. Visitors to the exhibition will have the opportunity to purchase signed books, meet the author, and learn more about her writing journey. Bookmarks will also be available. Elizabeth has participated in local author exhibitions at both the Fonthill Library and the Main Welland Library and has read her books as a guest author at the Seaway Mall Library (Welland) and at St Ann Catholic Elementary School in Fenwick.

A timely and true story that will resonate with Canadians during these times. Our long history with the US took a turn when their independence was declared in 1776. Since that time Canadians have been forced make choices that have distinguished us from our neighbours to the south. The decisions we made over the past 250 years continued through the War of 1812, when our borders were invaded and we fought to remain Canadian. Those challenges have taken different forms over the years, but they continue today. This is the story of one family who faced these challenges, through generations. And it is a story of the people and in particular, the women who were part of history and whose story is rarely told. Following the American War for Independence, Betsy Green and her husband, Charles—who fought with the Loyalists—are relentlessly persecuted by their neighbours and fear they can no longer remain in New Jersey. Charles plans to go to the Niagara Region, seeking land as a reward for his loyalty to the Crown and then return for his pregnant wife and five children. But Betsy alters their plans when she makes a decision—though virtuous and kind-hearted—that endangers her entire family. They must flee their home immediately. Desperate to move quickly, Charles and Betsy leave their three eldest children in the care of Charles’s brother and set out with their two youngest, a few supplies, and their only horse. So begins their long and dangerous trek—full of twists and toils—to Upper Canada. They must travel through the wilderness under cover of darkness or risk being caught and arrested. Blending true stories with fictional details and told through the voices of Betsy and later her daughter Rebecca, Our Pursuit of Happiness is an extraordinary tale of a family whose love, strength, courage, and fortitude during perilous times paved the way for generations of Canadians to come.

I write action-adventure thrillers that blend ancient history, Cold War espionage, and the hunt for relics that should have stayed buried, in the spirit of Indiana Jones and Clive Cussler. At my table I’ll have my debut novel, The Delphi Protocol, the first book in the Saint & Sinner series, available for purchase and signing. It’s a 1986 chase across Europe in which a bookish historian and a haunted spy race the KGB for an artifact tied to the Oracle of Delphi, a relic that could save the world or end it. I’m glad to talk with readers about the series, the real history behind it, and what’s coming next.

The Music In the Lights and The Loud Loud Classroom children’s books. These books were written to help bring understanding to the sensory world many children with autism experience every day. By turning those feelings into something visible, rhythmic, and tangible, I hoped to create a bridge, one that allows readers to not only see the differences, but to truly feel them. Through Arlo’s journey, my goal is to foster empathy, patience, and a deeper appreciation for the many ways we each experience the world. The Arlo series is a collection of ten woven stories following a young boy with autism who experiences the world through patterns, sound, light, and feeling in ways others often overlook. Across each book, Arlo navigates everyday environments, busy streets, classrooms, celebrations, unfamiliar spaces, transforming moments that may seem overwhelming into something meaningful and magical. Where others see chaos, Arlo finds rhythm. Where others feel noise, Arlo discovers calm. As the series unfolds, Arlo’s quiet perspective begins to influence those around him. Children, families, and communities slowly learn to see the world through his eyes, gaining patience, empathy, and a deeper understanding of sensory experiences and emotional connection. Each story stands on its own while building toward a larger message: differences are not obstacles to overcome, but perspectives that can help reshape how we understand one another. The Arlo series is a gentle, inclusive journey that celebrates neurodiversity, emotional awareness, and the power of seeing the world not just as it is, but as it can be, when viewed through a different lens.
